In September 2016, The Bay School was the lucky recipient of a Home Depot "Team Build" where Home Depot sent a talented team of employees to help transform our school play yard in just one day! Beautiful benches and picnic tables were hand crafted by the team, providing us with much needed outdoor seating areas; large potted Japanese maple trees adorned the yard, bringing life and color to the space; and a large pergola was constructed to shade our students and staff while they enjoy time outside on sunny days. The Home Depot Team Build also planted a beautiful wine barrel succulent garden in our "Sleepy Hollow" picnic area, where our staff often sit during their lunch breaks. It is clear from the quality of work that went into this special project that the dedicated Home Depot employees were inspired by the mission of our school. We send our deepest appreciation to Home Depot for their kindness and generosity!
