In May 2017, The Bay School developed a new position, Clinical Coordinator, designed to provide additional educational and behavioral support to our students. We are proud to announce that Stephanie (Steph) Iwanciow will be stepping into this role. Steph has been part of our team for over 12 years, serving the role of Instructor, Senior Instructor, and most recently Special Education Teacher. Steph holds her Masters Degree in Education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analysist (BCBA).
We are also thrilled to announce that Elizabeth (Liz) Weissman-Young will be promoted to Special Education Teacher, replacing Steph's position in Transition Classroom 2. Liz has been part of our team for over four years and has been a Teacher Trainee for the past year. Liz in is the process of obtaining her moderate-severe Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
We feel confident that the students in Transition Classroom 2 will continue to excel under Liz's leadership. We also feel fortunate to have Steph’s vast clinical experience and expertise as a support for students across all classrooms at The Bay School. This is an exciting time for our school as we know these changes will enhance the services we provide. Please help us in welcoming Steph and Liz to their new roles!
